NDI LAUNCHES IMAGE ARCHIVING AND RETRIEVAL SERVICE

(Beachwood) November 11, 2011—National Diagnostic Imaging (NDI) has expanded the scope of its teleradiology services by introducing DICOM image archiving and retrieval. This includes secure storage at NDI?s data center and co-locations in Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Images can be retrieved by a simple query via NDI's PACSstar, providing by Perfect Imaging, LLC. "This is a natural outgrowth of our internal archiving needs," stated NDI President & CEO Dr. David H. Berns. "We began providing this service to a few select clients over the past few months and it's been such a success that we've decided to expand it to any imaging entity in need of secure, robust DICOM image archiving," added Berns.

NDI's secure data bunkers include uninterrupted power supply including generators, 24-hour security and multiple internet carriers for redundancy and maximum performance.
