| Robert Abbott, M.D Body Imaging - Baltimore,

Dr.
Abbott graduated from the Medical College of
Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his
internship in Internal Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical
Center in San Antonio, Texas. Following an active duty
tour with the United States Air Force as a Flight
Surgeon, he completed his residency in Diagnostic
Radiology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He
retired from the United States Air Force Reserve as
Lieutenant Colonel in 2006. He has previously served as
a Residency Program Director in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Abbott's interests include Body Imaging with
radiologic-pathologic correlation. He has published and
been an invited speaker on these topics. He is an active
member of numerous professional organizations including
the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiology (SGR), Society
of Uroradiology (SUR), and the International Society of
Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM). He has served on
various committees of the Radiological Society of North
America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He is a
member of the American College of Radiology and serves
as ACR Councilor and Vice President of the Maryland
Radiological Society. Dr. Abbott is board certified in
Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
where he also serves as a Board Examiner in
Genitourinary Radiology. |
